Duke University’s MBA program, which is known as The Fuqua School of Business, had a problem. It is comprised of multiple departments, each focusing on specific courses of study. Each department produced their own materials independent of each other, resulting in a lack of consistency from one program to the next.
Using the ‘blue box’ as a unifying element, we created an overarching brand look consisting of fonts, colors, photography style and layout style. This unified all the departments and projected a more polished, organized appearance. It also provided a design platform and style guide so that each department can easily create additional communication materials. The initial launch consisted of a 52 page annual viewbook, multiple collateral pieces for each discipline, and an outreach campaign to reach new prospective students.
