MINI: Neurofeedback Therapy
MINI (no, not that MINI), stands for Memphis Integral Neurofeedback Institute. They pioneered an advanced form of treatment for people with ADD/ADHD called neurofeedback. This therapy is a digital technology that monitors brainwaves and “trains” the brain to maintain focus on a single subject or task for longer periods of time.
MINI asked 8AM Ideas to design a new logo and help get the word out. We created their logo to represent connected neurons to hint at how neurofeedback works by rewiring the brain. For the marketing campaign, we wanted to accomplish 2 things: directly identify with their audience by demonstrating what it’s like to have ADD, and highlight the fact that there’s a viable alternative to using medication.
Results: The multi-channel campaign was so effective it created an unexpected problem. It brought in so many new patients in such a short time, they literally had to pull the ads early.
Indeed a good problem to have.
